Our History

Soaring Eagle Grain Equipment Inc. was founded in 2018 in Winkler, Manitoba, but our story begins much earlier. Our founders bring over 30 years of combined experience in agricultural equipment sales, service, and innovation. We saw an opportunity to create a company that truly puts farmers and grain handlers first, combining quality equipment with exceptional service and support.

The name "Soaring Eagle" reflects our vision: to help Canadian agricultural operations rise above challenges and achieve new heights of efficiency and productivity. Like the eagle that soars above the prairie, we aim to provide a perspective that sees the bigger picture and solutions that elevate our customers' operations.

From our first installation in 2018 to serving hundreds of customers across Western Canada today, we've remained committed to our founding principles: quality equipment, expert service, and genuine partnerships with our customers.

Foundation & Early Years (2018-2019)

Our founders recognized a gap in the Canadian agricultural equipment market: farmers and grain handlers needed a supplier who truly understood their challenges and could provide not just equipment, but complete solutions backed by exceptional service.

Starting with a small team and a commitment to excellence, we focused on building relationships and reputation. Every installation was an opportunity to prove our value, and every service call was a chance to demonstrate our dedication to customer success.

By the end of our first year, we had completed 25 installations and established a reputation for quality work and responsive service. Word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied customers drove our early growth.

Growth & Expansion (2020-2021)

As our reputation grew, so did demand for our services. We expanded our service area beyond Manitoba into Saskatchewan and began taking on larger, more complex projects. The COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges, but as an essential service to agriculture, we adapted our operations to continue serving our customers safely.

This period saw us develop our custom design capabilities, allowing us to solve unique challenges that standard equipment couldn't address. Several of these custom projects became case studies that attracted attention from across Western Canada.

Maturity & Recognition (2022-2023)

By 2022, Soaring Eagle had established itself as a trusted name in Canadian grain handling equipment. We had completed hundreds of installations, from small family farms to large commercial elevators. Our service department had become known for rapid response and expert problem-solving.

We launched formal training programs, recognizing that equipment is only as good as the operators who use it. Our comprehensive training approach became a differentiator in the market and contributed to improved safety and efficiency for our customers.

Industry recognition followed, with awards for customer service excellence and innovation in equipment design. More importantly, our customer retention rate exceeded 95%, with many customers returning for additional equipment and upgrades.

Today & Tomorrow (2024 and Beyond)

Today, Soaring Eagle serves customers across Western Canada with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to agricultural equipment excellence. We've completed over 500 installations and maintain hundreds of pieces of equipment through our service programs.

Looking forward, we're committed to staying at the forefront of grain handling technology while maintaining the personal service and attention to detail that built our reputation. We're investing in new capabilities, expanding our team, and continuing to innovate in equipment design and service delivery.

From day one, Soaring Eagle has been committed to supporting Canadian agriculture. We understand the unique challenges of farming in Canada - from harsh winters to short harvest windows, from vast distances to variable crop conditions. Our equipment selections, service capabilities, and business practices are all designed with these Canadian realities in mind.

We source equipment that can withstand Canadian weather conditions. We maintain parts inventory for rapid delivery across Western Canada. We provide 24/7 emergency service during harvest because we know that downtime during those critical weeks can make or break a year.

Community Involvement

Beyond our business operations, we're active in the agricultural community. We sponsor local agricultural events, support 4-H programs, and participate in industry associations. We believe in giving back to the community that has supported our growth.
